Chris Kelly has supplied a definitive list of ECBOA courses that actually ran – saying that some 12 courses ran at 10 locations out of 15 planned.
ECBOA courses ran (or are still running) in Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Durham, Kent, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northumberland, Worcestershire and Isle of Wight
ECBOA courses did not run in Gloucestershire, Hereford, Middlesex or Staffordshire although they are still advertised on ECBOA website.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, there were no ECB OA courses run in Kent. Clearly ECB OA have a vested interest in inflating the figures!

Here we are, one year further on from the above post, and still no courses available to all. Some complained that ACUS were slow, but this is ridiculous. ACO have a temporary board but still members are in the dark. No constitution? No terms of reference? No guidelines? What sort of jokers are there at ECB? They claim to have taken full control on 1st Jan 2008. What have we got to show for this? Insurance? which some leagues supply anyway. Still I suppose Kelly, Bedford and Knight are earning a good living for doing sweet F.A.

Its called freedom of speech!!!! which our forefathers fought and died for. If you do not like this then perhaps you should not read this notice board or perhaps you would be better of in Tibet or some other communist country.

As I've probably mentioned before in Bucks a GL5 ran Jan - March under the county ACUS. The County Board has just published a new constitution prior to its AGM - it provides that Bucks ACUS nominates a member to its Committee and seemingly recognises that the local ACUS will remain as a significant entity for the foreseeable future.
It's interesting that there's no mention of Berkshire either - this appeared on the ECBACO site as an example of the new age.

Exactly Jaybee. ECB could not wait to get rid of ACUS, like you here in Essex we are running ACUS courses for the forseeable future. It really proves that ECB were far to hasty to take control. I think they have made a huge mistake but are not prepared to admit it and ask for help. And before youngumpire jumps in, ECB ACO is the way forward now that ACUS has finished, but not in its present form or makeup. We have a board who remain silent, when it is the time for information and clear giudes. How can we recommend the ECB ACO to people we meet during the summer when we ourselves do not know?
