Batsman was given out caught behind but he refuged to leave the crease. It took 10 minutes for him to eventually go. No new batsman came. What happens?

Firstly, obviously the batsman should be reported to higher authority for dissent, in accordance with the procedures for the relevant competition. Secondly, you invoke the procedure for a delay in any new batsman appearing. After giving the fielding side time to appeal if they wish to, you and your colleague should call Time and leave the field to investigate the delay. Either the delay constitutes a refusal to play, in which case you warn the batting captain and, if the refusal persists, return to the pitch and award the match to the fielding side; or there's no refusal to play in which case you return to the field, answer any appeal which was made before the call of Time, and proceed with the game. A full outline of the procedure to follow is set out in the "Law 31 in Action" section of the MCC Laws Website - www.lords.org/mcc/laws-of-cricket/laws-in-action/law-31-in-action/
