I regret to announce that I broke my arm on Saturday.
I was assessing an umpire and tried to be helpful by fielding a ball that had crossed the boundary. I tripped over a small barrier!
In 54 years umpiring on the field, I never suffered a serious injury!
There is also an unrelated problem with emails to office@acumenbooks.co.uk - please send copy to acumen@luna.co.uk in case the original one bounces.
Consequently there may be some delay in despatch ing orders or replying to correspondence also some capital letters and other punctuation may be wobbly!
Apologies for any inconvenience.

Pleased to report that My broken arm is healing well but driving me up the wall - almost literally - one of the physio exercises is to stand by a wall and make my hand crawl up the wall! MULTI-GAUGES are now back in stock - use www.acumenbooks.com OR send cheque for £25 inc postage. LOG BOOKS are also now available - £9 inc postage. www.acumenbooks.com is now working again!
