Cricket Australia has today (30th September) advised that a new version of Duckworth-Lewis will be rolled out by the ICC in the next week or so. The new user-friendly version will replicate the existing v7.0 however it will be run on the Windows platform.
The dos version will become obsolete, but for this those wishing to temporarily continue using the dos version, it will produce the same results as the new Windows version.
I am told the Windows application is a simple one-page, one-screen program. Can anyone tell me if this is being used in England yet?

I don't know whether this is the version you're referring to, but there is a version at www.duckworth-lewis.com/This version is restricted, though:

No, that's not it. I was forwarded the Windows version today from NSWCU&SA as Sydney Grade Cricket use it for their one day matches. It came with the following article attached. ICC Duckworth-Lewis calculator Professional Edition 2008. The Duckworth-Lewis calculator has been developed by Dr Steven Stern, Associate Professor, School of Finance & Applied Statistics, the Australian National University, Canberra. Dr Stern worked on the program in consultation with Duckworth and Lewis. The program has been thoroughly tested and is ready to be used in international cricket. the program is easy to use with simple installation- see instructions. Copyright in the ICC Duckworth-Lewis Calculator Professional Edition is owned by Steven Stern and is licenced to ICC for distribution and use by its Members and their affiliates. I loaded it onto my computer & it is very easy to use, much better than the old Dos version. This Sunday will be the first time this version will be used in Sydney grade cricket.

The Windows version of D/L as described by risiam is available and being used in the UK. How widely I'm not sure.
It's simple to use. Much better than the DOS version.
