Is it just me, or do any of our colleagues hold the opinion that Test Match Umpiring these days is comparatively easy out in the middle? Let's face it, L.B.W. decisions seem to be always right, whether or not the umpire decides out or not out, unless it's either completely missing the wickets, or hitting them flush. and even when a batsman is caught, the decision is referred up to the T.V. (3rd) Umpire to check whether or not it was a no-ball. What is the standing umpire paid for these days, the ability to count to six?
