At the start of the season, I scored for the Forty Club Wales in a match against Cowbridge School at Cowbridge Cricket Club. "There's nothing special about that", I hear you say .... but there was. One of the Forty Club's players was Robert Leachman, who holds the world record for the number of individual grounds played on ... a small matter of 922! In fact, it's at least 923 now, as he played at Gowerton a few weeks ago as well, and for all I know may be more than that again. But this feat got me thinking .... how many grounds have I scored on over my 20+ year career? Well, after a lot of thinking, and assuming that if a club has more than one ground it counts twice (or as appropriate), my total is just over 100 - and hopefully, there's a few more to come by the end of the seaon. However, I'm sure that this can't be a world record .... there must be someone with more than this? So, what do you think? Can anyone beat this number ... ? Go on, you know you can ... !!
