There are several instances of players using the Stanford 20/20 Black bat.
What is the "legal" position on these? They are made of wood.

As currently stated, there is no issue.
Under the revised Law regarding the bat which comes into operation after this (European) season, the bat must be of a normal colour.
However, if a particular Governing body want to write a Competition Regulation overruling this provision of the Law, it's within their power to do so.

We already supply caliper gauges but I think we may need to consider electron microscopes for some of these checks!
We understand that the 2008 Law Books, containing these changes, will be avialble shortly at £3 each + p&p. As soon as we have stocks, I will email round.
