We all know and understand the ECB Fast Bowling Directives for the younger players.
Does anyone know of any limitations on a slow bowler in the younger age groups. I do not.
There may well be in competition regulations, of course.

I think it's just down to the regulations, John. Our colts play 20-over games, and the bowlers are limited to 4 overs each. Usually, though, we use more than 5 bowlers, so there's not much chance of a problem.

Yesterday I did I timed match where the side batting first bowled 60 overs before declaring. Now they could have bowled those overs using only two (very tired) bowlers, one or both could have been catogorised as a young spin bowler. I would also say that there were two very tired umpires at the end.
