Interesting DRS question on No Ball.

www.sportskeeda.com/cricket/video-hamish-rutherford-umpire-steve-davis-wrong-no-ball-call reports that the umpire incorrectly called a No Ball (presumably foot fault). The striker gloved the ball and the keeper made a clean catch. Given Not Out.

HOWEVER the video replay showed that it was a FAIR ball.

If the fielding captain had called for a review,what should have been the result?

Could the striker insist that he had been influenced by the call?

Interesting point - the official DRS Regulations explain what should happen when no-ball hasn't been called, but mention nothing about what should happen when it has been called incorrectly.

Even though it's almost impossible for a batsman to hear a call in time to alter his shot, I strongly suspect that the batsman would have a valid argument that he's entitled to rely upon the information provided through the call (and signal), and that therefore the not out decision should stand.

As an aside, unless the bowler was 100% sure that he was behind the line, and could convince his captain accordingly, it'd be very difficult to get the information to ask for a review of this type - the regulations specifically state that replays on a big screen can't be shown until after it's too late to ask for a review.
