I am advised that no meetings to discuss the merger proposal have yet been arranged in SE Region (Kent, Surrey and Sussex) because, very strangely, nobody has requested one.
Either this means total apathy on the subject, or everyone in SE Region has already made up their minds!

Maybe! I understand that the two main hotbeds of ICUS activity/interest are in KENT [and its environs] and LIVERPOOL, Lancs.
FYI....... no word of any Proposal Meeting yet, here in the NorthEast Cheshire tundra.

I am advised that no meetings to discuss the merger proposal have yet been arranged in SE Region (Kent, Surrey and Sussex) because, very strangely, nobody has requested one. According to the "How's That" report of the Special General Council meeting: "In the meantime it is intended that details of the presentation will be explained to members, and members' questions answered at a series of meetings to be held locally. Your Regional Councillor will be organising these. If you require further information you should contact your Regional Councillor." I infer from this that the series of meetings will be held whether anyone requests them or not. Mind you, the South-East Regional Councillor missed the meeting, so she may not be aware of her responsibility.
