A very dear man has passed away. Rocky was born on 16 September 1932, and passed away on 1 February 2013, at 80 years of age. He is survived by his wife Hazel and four children Vilma, Lawrence, Tony and Kelvin. NSWCA Elected Life Member No 77, September 2000, for service to NSWCA Appointed to Coaching Panel, 1982 NSW Under-17 team manager, 1988-1997 Room attendant, international and interstate visiting teams, 1997-2005 Liaison officer, international visiting teams, 1996-2012, most recently during November 2012 for NZ female 2nd XI team’s tour to Australia, and for South Africa tour to Australia NSWCU&SA Elected Life Member, 2002 Joined March 1973, umpired until 1989 Umpired 13 First-Class matches during 1978-1987, one One-Day International match in 1979, five List A matches during 1978-1980, 201 First Grade matches, and 51 lower-grade matches Executive Committee and Examinations Board, 1983-1989 Northern District CC Committee of Management, 1980-2000 Chairman of Selectors, 1989-1999 SCA Delegate Member, 1991-2000 Rocky as every one called him was so respected by international/national players at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
