Forgive me if this has been covered off recently.
I have had dual ACUS/ECBOA for 2 years now.
I pay both by Direct Debit
Am I not right in thinking that ACUS should be refunding my Nov 07 sub?
Nothing so far.
Has anyone got any news?

If you have been a member of both organisations, you should receive a refund of your 2007/8 ACU&S subscription in full.
However I do not know when you will receive the refund. You could try contacting John Rushton, the ACU&S Treasurer.

Thanks Umpire 50 !
Does anyone know how I can contact John?

It is not appropriate to post someone's e-mail address into the public domain without obtaining their permission first. However I know that he lives in Codshall near Wolverhampton. You could try directory enquiries perhaps?
Alternatively you could contact Steven Wood, the former General Secretary, whose details should be available via the Yorkshire Cricket Board website - he is, I believe, something to do with the ACO up there.

I believe the original @acus.org.uk email addresses are still working.
I have passed a copy of 4hit's message to him.

Thanks Colin -I will send a mail myself with details and, subject to obtaining a response, will post any information of interest to former members on this thread

I have just had a bank credit for £30 and I'm not expecting anything other than the refund for ACU&S, has anybody else noticed this in their bank accounts and can they confirm if these are the long awaited refunds?

I have today received a Bank Giro Credit for £30, and the item description is ACU&S. It looks fairly straightforward to me.
It may seem to have taken a long time, but we have to realise that the work is being done by volunteers. I thank them very much.

Yep, confirmed today as ACU&S, and thanks to the volunteers for getting this done for everyone

Mine too has been credited on 18th August.
We all got there eventually .
Thanks to all.

I would rather have had another few issues of Hows That? and a lot more clarity about qualifications.
It seems we shall be taking GL6s this autumn but not calling them GL6. Indeed we ought to have had a new set of questions.
What about GL4 & GL5 - we still need to train umpires passed the rock bottom minimum standard?
At this point the moderator moved the rest of the topic to ECB ACO Progress by Acumen.
